  8. *** CDTV USERS Special Note ***

  10. The Hypermedia Concepts Fred Fish Collection on CDROM V1.5 includes
  11. the ParNET Files pre-installed. This makes it very simple for an Amiga
  12. user to connect to the CDTV and use it as an intelligent CDROM drive.
  13.  
  14. **** Quick Setup Instructions ****
  15.  
  16. To establish a connection between the CDTV and an Amiga with a hard disk
  17. follow the 8 steps below:
  18.  
  19. 1.    TURN POWER OFF ON BOTH MACHINES!
  20.  
  21. 2.     Connect a ParNET Cable between the CDTV and the Amiga computer.* 
  22.  
  23. 3.     Turn on the power for both machines.
  24.  
  25. 4.     Put the Hypermedia Concepts Fred Fish Collection V1.5 CDROM into
  26.      a caddy and then into the CDTV unit.
  27.  
  28. 5.     Place the ParBENCH Floppy into the Amiga and double click the
  29.      Install.ParNET icon.
  30.  
  31. 6.    When Install.ParNET has completed, open the ParNET Drawer on the
  32.      SYS: partition and double click the Boot.Host Icon.
  33.  
  34. 7.    Double Click the Hypermedia Concepts CDROM icon on the CDTV, then
  35.          double click the icon labeled "PARNET_SWITCH".
  36.  
  37. 8.    Enjoy your intelligent CDROM Drive!!

  42. * NEVER CONNECT A NON-MODIFIED PARALLEL CABLE BETWEEN AMIGA COMPUTERS
